This post should’ve been posted somewhere in March<\/em> or April<\/em>, but still… We have the great news: Aly Michalka<\/strong> got a role in a Hallmark<\/em> movie titled Sand Dollar Cove<\/strong>, in which she is going to play alongside Chad Michael Murray<\/strong>. The movie will be premiered on June 26th<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nReal estate development project manager Elli (Michalka<\/strong>) is sent by her company to the quaint, seaside Connecticut town of Sand Dollar Cove to acquire the beachfront property they\u2019ve chosen as the site of their new resort. Brody (Murray<\/em>), the charming local who holds the deed, wants to make sure the town\u2019s beloved pier — where many memories have been made over the years — remains intact. Elli and Brody spend time together while she tries to figure out a way to make the deal work and the undeniable connection between them grows. Based on the book by Nancy Naigle<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\nAdding to the list of movies filming in Connecticut, a Hallmark movie called “Sand Dollar Cove<\/strong>” is shooting in Mystic<\/em> and looking for extras to play everyday pedestrians.

\nCasting is being conducted by the same company currently seeking extras for a Netflix<\/em> movie in Stamford<\/em> and an A-list film in Hartford<\/em>.

\nCitrola Casting, LLC describes the film as “a Hallmark movie about a real estate project manager in a small town.<\/em>” According to Hallmark Channel, the movie will premiere on June 26 and stars Chad Michael Murray<\/strong> (“One Tree Hill,” “Gilmore Girls”) and Aly Michalka<\/strong> (“Phil of the Future<\/strong>,” “Easy A<\/strong>“).<\/p>\n
