I’m posting this post to let you know that the community Aly & AJ Russia started its way already 11 YEARS AGO! Yes, AAR is turning already 11 FREAKING YEARS! Can you imagine it! 11 years ago, I decided to create a fandom for all the fans of Aly & AJ around the world. But in the beginning of its way, the community was called Michalka Fan Russia.
I had been a fan of Aly & AJ for 2 years, since June, 16th 2009, before I decided to create a club of the Michalka sisters’ fans. I did not care that I knew English very bad and decided to create a club of Russian fans on English. Why did I do so? Because I thought it would be better to speak English that many people know. All the more, this is a mother language of Aly & AJ. So, I have been posting updates in English, but it does not mean I would not speak Russian if I get something on this language.
The first tweets of our community that was called Michalka Fan Russia was:

Yes, when creating Michalka Fan Russia/Aly & AJ Russia, I knew English very bad and am really sorry about that because of my grammar. I believe now I know it better and learned rules and grammar much better.

But in 2016, the story of Michalka Fan Russia was over, and the story of Aly & AJ Russia started. It was quite an easy thing to do because I had wanted to change the name of the club.
[…] Then, on the start of July, I got a message from one person, who purposed me to change the community name. I was thinking about that because I knew Michalka Fan Russia sounded weirdly and did not know how to translate and explain it. So, I started a pool to know people’s opinion. And they decided I should have changed the community name to Aly & AJ Russia. I finally did it on July, 10th 2016. But I did not escape “Michalka Fan Russia” and called my site “Michalka Fan Russia by Aly & AJ Russia“.
Nevertheless, I changed the name to Aly & AJ Russia in February 2017 when I decided to change a layout. Also, I changed the domain to alyandajrussia.tk (site) / photos-alyandajrussia.tk (gallery) / alyandajrussia.tk/lyrics (lyrics center) and kept alyandajrussia.tk (site) / photos-alyandajrussia.tk (gallery) / alyandajrussia.tk/lyrics (lyrics center) as added domains.
Wonder what those quotes are from? Here’s the link to the story of Aly & AJ Russia community, which would let you learn more about us. However, it was updated about 3 years ago, but nothing special has happened in the past years – so, I don’t know if I’m going to make some changes.
Our story has been continuing for such a long time and will be continued. We are getting better and trying to think up something interesting and become one of the most informed and best sources about Aly & AJ, even if I’m not, honestly, sure we’d be ’cause there are fewer visitors of our site and followers on our social networks). Everything I’m doing for Aly & AJ Russia is all for you, guys. Anyway, thank you to the people, who support us and find my work good and needed. I will be working on what I’m doing for you…

Hello, everyone! Maria is here! How are you all doing? Hope you’re all doing fine! As you can see, I’ve changed a layout for all the sections of our website because I thought it was time to change it. And I also changed a layout for our accounts on Twitter and Facebook. Honestly, I didn’t know what photos to use for a new design and was tearing between the photoshoot for Style Caster that was made in 2022.
What do you think of the new layout? Is it comfortable to you? Maybe, is there something I should change? Let me know it by leaving a comment. I was actually planning to change the layout on the 11th anniversary of Aly & AJ Russia fan club on October, 30th. I made a poll on Twitter and Facebook, and the results showed that people wanted to see the new layout immediately. So, here’s what I got.

Without you, Aly & AJ Russia would have hardly existed and started its work. We are here because of you, and the fact you come back to us daily or at least from time to time is one of the two reasons (the other one is, of course, Aly & AJ) why our community continues to exist.

The pandemic of COVID-19 has not been gone yet, but Aly & AJ made us happy by releasing their long-awaited album “A touch of the beat gets you up on your feet gets you out and then into the sun“. In 2022, they are going to go on the road and perform with their new songs in many cities and some countries and promise to make more new music we already can’t wait to hear.

Aly & AJ, known briefly as 78violet (pronounced: seventy-eight violet), are an American pop rock duo that consists of sisters Alyson and Amanda Michalka. They signed a recording contract with Hollywood Records in 2004. Their debut album, Into the Rush, debuted at number 36 on the US Billboard 200, and was later certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). It has sold 839,000 copies domestically and one million copies worldwide. Their second album, Insomniatic, peaked at number 15 on the Billboard 200, selling over 39,000 copies in its first week and becoming Aly & AJ's highest debut to date. In 2009, Aly & AJ renamed themselves 78violet (pronounced "seventy-eight violet") and announced their departure from Hollywood Records the following year. In 2013, the sisters released their first single in five years, "Hothouse". The duo had planned to release a full-length album in 2014, which was later leaked onto the internet. On December 9, 2015, the duo announced they had decided to return to their original name, Aly & AJ. In 2017, they released their debut EP Ten Years, which was followed by an EP titled Sanctuary in 2019. On May 7, 2021, they released their fourth studio album, A Touch of the Beat Gets You Up on Your Feet Gets You Out and Then Into the Sun, which marks their first album in 14 years.
