• Aly & AJ are really going to release new music next year
• The Michalka sisters took a break from music because they wanted to focus on an acting career, did not feel inspired to write a new material and thought music was not for them
• They are now writing and recording and loving this more than ever
• They would like to make a 10 song record but will probably release a 3 song record
• The artists like Kate Bush, Beach House, St. Lucia, Tame Impala, Crosby, and Stills & Nash influence the sisters’ musical taste and their music’s sound
• AJ said Aly and she are always in the studio when they do not film in their TV shows.
All the more, AJ visited MCM Birmingham Comic Con on November, 20th 2016 and gave an interview where she talked about her roles in “The Goldbergs” (Lainey Lewis), “Steven Universe” (Stevonnie), “Super 8” (Jen), “Grace Unplugged” (Grace Tray), and “Weepah Way For Now” (Joy). Also, Amanda said that Aly and she are planning to release new music February next year, at least, they are hoping.
